The Arts Council of Big Sky is pleased welcome Baroque Montana back to Big Sky for a concert at the new Big Sky Center for the Art on Friday, June 20, 2025. The concert is part of the Bravo! Big Sky classical music series and is partially underwritten by the arts council's Schwer-Toepffer Memorial Fund.
Join us for an explosion of music and song from Cape Breton, Acadia, 18th century Scotland and the borders, as well as original music inspired by these ancient traditions. Guest co-directors Chris Norman and David Greenberg bring a fluency in these folk music traditions to the baroque music world and tie them together seamlessly. The timeless sound of fiddles, pipes, flutes, and continuo sing across the centuries to connect you with music of profound beauty and rollicking fun!
Performing will be:
Carrie Krause – baroque violin
David Greenberg – baroque violin
Chris Norman – wooden flutes & historic bagpipe
