"The Wizard of Oz" youth edition is based on L. Frank Baum's beloved novel. The story follows Dorothy Gale, a young girl living on a Kansas farm with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and faithful dog, Toto. When a tornado strikes, Dorothy and Toto are swept away to the magical land of Oz. "The Wizard of Oz" is a timeless tale about the power of friendship, self-discovery, and the importance of home, enchanting audiences for generations.
Presented by Portsmouth Christian Schools' Theatre Department. March 8th and 9th, 7pm nightly. Outside doors open at 6:00pm theater doors open around 6:15pm. Portsmouth Christian Gymnasium, 3214 Elliott Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23702.
